Finished God of War II! It was a lil easier than the first one. Can't wait til the movie comes out... though if they pick someone wimpy to be Kratos, I'll boycott it. Kratos is a BRUISER, not just some random fit guy.

mergh. Packing up stuffs to ship to Landmark College (its for... erm, "special" people. like me. ya know, the ones that're ADD and passed everything without trying but are confronted with WORKING for grades and don't have all the skills you were supposed ta develop before? yeah... that's me)

Just got back a few days ago from picking up a car in North Carolina. The one I HAD been using's starting ta get rust, and in MN, that's like a death sentence since rust is exponential cuz of road salt and such. Plus, its clutch was wearing out and that's a rather hefty repair job. Keeping it was more effort than it was worth. So... now I've got a navy blue volvo s70 5-speed manual- exactly like my lil sisters, transmission aside. Dad gets used cars, but doesn't cheap out and get junkers cuz he's all "safety first, esp. with younger drivers and an ADD kid". Hence, the miniTANKcars.

Came with an aftermarket stereo deck, though. Which is nice, but I wish they hadn't gone and spliced the wires. Makes it near-impossible ta change the configuration unless I wanna rewire the whole damn thing. ICK.

And one of the window's updates fucked up my config. See, I hate vista. Too slow, and too... sticks-its-nose-where-it-doesn't-belong-and-tries-ta-spy-on-me-and-tell-me-what-to-do. SO, i compromised- XP looks LAME, like fisher-price designed the stock UI. Vista is pretty. So, all ya need ta do to make xp LOOK like vista, but without all the ickies of ACTUAL vista (or windows 7) you just install the Vista Inspirat briquopack. Takes care of everything for ya.
